Start and finish at La Goëléterie, at the intersection between Rue and Impasse de la Goëléterie. Parking is available on the street near the Aurore Holiday Centre manor house. There is also a bus stop.
(S/E) Take Impasse de la Goëléterie and head down towards the Rance.
(1) Turn left onto the coastal path (GRP®) and follow it to La Passagère and Pointe du Grouin.
(2) At La Passagère, continue along the coastal path via Rue de La Passagère (D5).
(3) Turn right towards the sea cemetery and continue along the coastal path.
(4) Depending on the tide in the Rance (which differs from the sea tide due to the dam), the water may be too high to follow the Rance. In this case, you will need to go around the block.
(5) Follow the Rance along the low wall at the bottom of the Saint-Elier property and, turning right at the end, go around the Pointe de La Roche du Port.
(6) Cross the small road that leads up to the hamlet of Val Es Bouillis, cross a small stream and take the path that leads up to the left towards the fountain. Walk along the wall of the Val ès Bouillis manor house and, at the end of the path, you will find yourself on a road on the right.
(7) At a bend in the road, take the path that descends towards the Rance.
(5) Follow the low wall again and, at the end, turn right onto a path that climbs up alongside Saint-Elier. Cross the road.
(8) Shortly afterwards, turn left onto the path indicating the return to La Goëtrie.
(9) At the end of the field you have been walking alongside, turn left into the woods. Continue along the path past the IME la Passagère, then take a small footpath to the end point (S/E).
