This hike starts at the Carnetin cemetery car park. You can get there by car or public transport.
Leave the car park and head right (south-east) towards the crossroads about 100 metres away.
At the crossroads (1), cross the small square with the cross (beautiful view of the Jablines outdoor activity centre) and turn left onto the path that goes downhill.
Cross the D418 departmental road and continue straight ahead on the path until you reach a small road (2). Turn left and, after about 50 metres, turn right onto a path that will take you to the Marne (3).
Turn right and follow the Marne in the direction of the current.
You will pass through abandoned orchards and run alongside the Vallières Regional Forest.
At the edge of the forest, continue along the path beside the Marne for about 300 metres. Then turn right and after about 100 metres you will come to a track crossing a large field (4).
Continue straight ahead on this track (yellow markings) which climbs to a crossroads (5) where you turn right to enter the forest.
The path winds between the trees and, at the edge of the forest, crosses a small paved road (6).
Continue straight ahead on the path, which now separates two fields, until you reach the Promenade de la Dhuis, easily recognisable by its two tracks separated by a grassy central reservation (7). Then turn right and follow this promenade.
Walk along the Promenade de la Dhuis, cross the first road and you will come to the D105A road (8), which you cross.
From here, you can see the red and whiteGR® trail markers.
Continue along the Promenade de la Dhuis for about one kilometre. When you reach two contemporary-style timber-framed houses (9), turn right and go up the sunken lane blocked by two metal arches.
At the junction with the D105A, you have arrived. The cemetery car park is on your right.
