Around the village of Sougé-le-Ganelon

Park in the car park for the stadium and the multi-purpose hall.

(S/E) With your back to the car park, head towards the church and cross the D15 near the town hall, then continue opposite along Rue du Puits Forget until you reach a Fork in the road.

(1) Turn left onto the D173 towards Douillet-le-Joly (Douillet on IGN maps) and follow this road due south. Pass Le Corbusin on your left and you’ll come to a junction.

(2) Turn right onto the road towards the park and you’ll reach the D112 bis at the bottom of a descent.

(3) Turn right onto this road and follow it for about thirty metres, then turn left onto the small road leading up towards La Trouesse. Pass this hamlet and a cross on your right.

(4) Take the road on the left that climbs up to reach the Gaudinière site, the Hutchinson factory.

(5) Walk round the buildings towards Le Gué Ory, cross the D15 at the pedestrian crossing and take the small road opposite. After about a hundred metres, turn right and walk alongside the River Sarthe, which is on your left. Follow this road until you reach a cross on your right.

(6) Turn right, cross the Ruisseau de Doucelles and pass the hamlet of Le Chesnay.

(7) After this hamlet, carry on straight ahead, leaving the Route du Pin on your right, until you reach the D112.

(8) Turn right, then left (watch out for traffic) and pass the Résidence des Avaloirs.

(9) At the hamlet of Mont, carry on straight ahead, passing the Ferme du Rocher further on, until you reach a junction.

(10) Turn right to reach the car park for the stadium and the multi-purpose hall (S/E).

Shortcut: at the hamlet of Mont (9), you can turn right up the hill to reach the stadium.

(5) At Le Gué-Ory, you will pass by the Hutchinson site, a rubber processing plant that manufactures automotive seals.
