Around Croix-Mare

(S/E) Facing the totem pole and the church of Croix-Mare, turn right towards the D20, following the path to the right until you reach the village exit, passing the water tower and the farm produce stall

(1) At the village exit, take the path on the right, lined with embankments, and continue straight on along the edge of the village until you reach a road (marked by a cross).

(2) Continue left onto Route du Mouchel, D304. At Impasse du Mouchel, turn right onto Chemin du Hameau en Caux, then follow Route du Hameau to the left for 200 m.

(3) Take the Impasse en Caux on the right, which descends into the woods to the Route du Val au Cesne (D89). Cross it carefully and head back up opposite into the woods, then along the edge of the woods, to the Château de Beauvoir.

(4) Turn right onto the Route de Beauvoir towards Écalles-Alix.

(5) At the three-way junction, at a place called la Grande Rue, turn right onto Chemin du Plateau to follow the path alongside the hamlet. At the end of the path, turn left towards Écalles-Alix

(6) Before reaching the village, take the first path on the right which passes in front of the lagoons and head down into the woods to the D89. Turn left onto the D89 for 50 m, cross it carefully and head up to the right towards the forest track, then the road leading to and through the hamlet of Yvelin.

(7) At the end of the cul-de-sac, first turn left then right to cross a road and continue straight on to the church at Croix-Mare (S/E).
