Description of the walk

Park in the centre of the village of Ossas-Suhare near the Town Hall on the D149. The entire walk is signpostedPR® (yellow markings).

(S/E) Take the small road towards Suhare, then cross the stream via a bridge. Turn right and, about 300 m further on, you’ll reach a dirt track that climbs up to the left of the road.

(1) Take this track and continue to follow the yellow markings. The path is wide until it bends to the right. Leave the path on the left and take a forest track. It passes through woodland and farmland and reaches a crossroads of tracks.

(2) Turn right. The path descends slightly until you reach another junction.

(3) Turn left towards Suhare. The road descends and then climbs gently towards the village. Continue straight on until you reach the junction in the centre of the village.

(4) Continue straight on downhill, then take the path leading uphill to the left, still marked in yellow. After a row of trees and a wide bend to the right, continue eastwards until you reach the Route de Suhare.

(5) Carry on to the left until you reach the ‘Vierge’ crossroads. In front of the statue, turn right towards Ossas until you reach the first path on the right.

(6) Take this path, which very quickly turns due south, and head back to the junction you passed on the way out.

(3) Return to the village of Ossas-Suhare via the same route you took on the way out (S/E).

A lovely walk in Soule, with no difficulty at all.
Take care if the path is very busy!
