(2) One of the old mills in Flagothier.
(3) The UFO at km 8 is nothing more than a Belgocontrol installation!
(4) Hikers who don't like complicated trails (5), grumpy bulls and mud should take the little-used road between points (4) and (6).

A peaceful nature walk in the countryside above the Ourthe, spread across the municipalities of Sprimont and Esneux.
The few forest passages make for a pleasant outing with varied landscapes.

A magnificent walk with superb views. I recommend it in late autumn or early spring when there are no leaves on the trees so you can fully enjoy the scenery. Do not attempt this walk when it is raining, when there is snow, or when the Ourthe is in flood.

Starting from the well-known long-distance hiking trail (signposted route to Santiago de Compostela), this route revisits the wonderful site of the circular Ourthe, passing by the old water pump towards the village of Ham. The idea behind this route is to limit the "concrete" sections to what is strictly necessary.

You will descend towards the Amblève, which you will follow along the left bank.
You will climb back up towards Oneux, where you will have a beautiful view of the Amblève valley.
After a circular route, you’ll return to Oneux to head down what the locals call ‘les tartines’.
A few metres after the start of the descent, straight ahead, you will see a lovely viewpoint overlooking Comblain-aux-Ponts and the Ourthe valley.
