Departure from the Céline Goberville gymnasium car park in Le Tillet.
(S/E) Walk along the main road (D929) on the left for a few metres, then cross it to take the path opposite (be careful, there is no pedestrian crossing at this point).
(1) Take the second path on the right to follow theGR®11. Where theGR®11branches off to the right, leave it and continue straight ahead. Cross the road from Cires-les-Mello to Foulangues and continue to the edge of the woods.
(2) Turn left towards Foulangues. Continue straight ahead to the village.
(3) Turn right onto Rue du Vary, then left onto Rue des Coquets. Pass in front of the church on Rue Saint Denis, then turn left onto Cavée Saint-Martin. Near the church, admire the two little figures waving to each other (chimney caps) on the roofs of two houses on either side of the street. Pass the cemetery.
(4) Turn right, at the hairpin bend, onto Chemin du Tour de Ville. Just after the cemetery, there is a lovely view of the village (on the right).
(5) Take the first path on the left (you are now back on theGR®11). Follow theGR®11until you return to Le Tillet.
To do this, turn right at the first intersection and left at the next.
(6) Join Rue de la Tour-Tillet and follow it to the next crossroads.
(7) At the intersection with the D929, turn left and follow the road. As you pass, admire the small chapel and the Tillet pavilion on your right, an old half-timbered house with wooden sculptures. A little further on, you will also see the Château du Tillet, now a rehabilitation centre. Return to the starting point (S/E).
