Start next to the cemetery: parking available on site.
(S/E) Walk past the cemetery, take the road on the right, and join the D659.
(1) Cross it carefully, follow it for about 50 metres, then turn left onto a gravel path. Cross the D55 and follow the path opposite for about 100 metres.
(2) Turn left onto a single-track path. Join the Chemin de Moissaguès and follow it to the left until the end of the bend, about 100 metres further on.
(3) Turn right onto a dirt track. Below a white mound, the track continues towards Le Foussal along a grassy strip beside a ditch. After passing alongside a wood, follow the track opposite, continuing straight ahead until you reach Impasse du Foussal. Pass the hamlet of Champ du Treil and continue straight ahead along Chemin de Montserot until you reach a 90° right-hand bend.
(4) Leave this path and continue straight ahead on the dirt track down towards Combe Perdude for about 300 metres until you reach a fork.
(5) Turn left onto a single-track path going uphill. At the hamlet of Montignac, turn left onto the path and walk for about 150 m.
(6) Turn right at a right angle into a meadow. Follow a hedge, then climb up opposite onto the plateau. Then turn left onto the ridge path passing La Truque de Montignac, which leads to the D55.
(7) Cross it carefully and turn left onto a dirt track that descends towards Chaupy.
(8) At the bottom of the descent, turn right onto the single track path, without crossing the meadow or the stream. Continue straight ahead at the bottom of the valley for about 1 km until you reach the Route de Malemousque. Turn left and cross the stream.
(9) Immediately turn right onto the grassy strip on the left side of the Ruisseau de Malemousque. At the end, turn left, go to the crossroads and turn right for a few dozen metres.
(10) Cross over and turn left onto a dirt track, then climb steeply up to the D659. Cross it carefully and rejoin the single track, which continues uphill to a white track.
(11) Turn left, rejoin the D659 and follow it to the right for a few dozen metres.
(12) Turn right to follow the edge of a wood. Continue straight ahead and follow the edge for 500 m. Turn left across the meadow, cross a wooded strip and join a forest path.
(13) Take this path on the left, which is almost flat at first, then descends more steeply: there are lovely views of the hills to be discovered. Further on, this path turns sharply to the right to cross the valley and continues on the other side.
(14) Take the hairpin bend to the left onto the ascending path and arrive on the plateau in a pine forest.
(15) Leave this path and turn left onto a forest track that turns right at a 90° angle, running alongside a field on the edge of a wood. Cross Route de Boyer and descend to the hamlet of Le Pech via a single-track path that passes in front of an old wash house. Then follow the tarmac road to the right to cross the hamlet, quickly turning left. The tarmac soon gives way to a dirt track that crosses the Ruisseau du Pech valley.
(16) Turn left, opposite the small technical building, to climb up the valley. Continue to follow the path uphill, which veers to the right and leads back to the plateau.
(17) At the crossroads, take the path opposite that leads to Pern, rejoin the tarmac road and continue to the crossroads.
(18) Take the street on the left which leads directly back to the starting point (S/E).
