Starting point: cemetery car park
(S/E) Turn right onto Rue de la Paix, alongside the cemetery. At the junction of Rue de la Paix and Rue de Pfastatt, you will arrive at thefirst stop, the Tuilerie Ziegelscheuer. Then turn left onto Rue de Pfastatt, then left onto Rue du Moulin for the second stop at the Résidence des Quatre Saisons / fire hydrant (Établissements Malot/SEMMA/CEMMA).
(1) Continue to the end of the street to see the mill and the Lucchini factory.
(2) Turn around, go back to the end of Rue de Pfastatt and turn left onto Rue Principale. Turn right and walk to No. 51, where you will find the Grussner carpentry workshop.
(3) Continue to No. 63/65 to see the Joseph Schwer factory. Turn left onto Rue de Lutterbach and continue to No. 4 (6th stop, Établissements Abt, from 1946 to 1957). Continue along Rue de Lutterbach and turn right onto Rue Bergeret, then right onto Rue Émile Egler until you reach the school.
(4) Turn left to pass in front of the Salle Hélios. Join Rue Principale and turn left. At No. 100, you will find yourself atthe 7th stop, where Établissements Abt was located from 1956 to 2011.
(5) Continue along the street. A little further on, at No. 102, stop for Établissements Brebbia Frères. Continue to No. 121, which housed the Eckes Frères Sawmill (9th stop). For the10th stop, continue and, after the medical centre on the left, you will find the MDPA borehole, which was drilled for a potash dissolution test.
(6) Continue along Rue Principale and, at the junction between Rue Principale and the RD155, you will find the11th point of interest, "Mulhouse Plage"
(7) Keep heading along the "dry river" towards the SNCF bridge. When you reach the monument to the2nd Shock Battalion, cross the road and go down to the Giratoire de la Carotte roundabout. Go around it on the left and cross three roads to reach the stop: "Ateliers centraux / AC2R / PUPA".
(8) Continue and then take Rue de la Mine Max (with its miniature model of the mine shaft), stopping between numbers 7A and 7 to see a point of interest on the theme of Carreau Max / Puits Max / École de la mine. Stay on this street and turn left towards the SNCF footbridge. Before going down, stop to look down at Richwiller station, the14th stop.
(9) At the bottom of the stairs, turn left, follow the fence, then turn right. Go through the gate and take the stony path. At the bottom of the descent, turn right at the pond and continue straight ahead on the small winding path. When you reach the crossroads, continue straight ahead. Once you reach the end of the large pond, you are at the15th stop dedicated to the Gerteis gravel pit.
(10) Turn right, heading south (follow the Anneau Vert signs). Cross the RD155 carefully and head towards the football pitches. At the car park for the Salle Jean-Marie Pfeffer, turn left towards the Pumptrack. Continue straight ahead, along the fields, until you reach the calvary.
(11) Turn right, go past the nursing home, then continue straight ahead and take the second street on the left (Rue Louis Loucheur). Continue to the intersection with Rue Sainte-Barbe: opposite you, at No. 10 (white house), you will find the former Établissements Gherardi (16th stop).
(12) Turn left onto Rue Sainte-Barbe and continue to the corner with Rue Colbert. This is where the Batembal factory was located (17th stop ). Keep right on Rue Colbert. At the end of this street, turn right onto Rue de la Paix. Further on, at the stop sign, you will see Rue des Vosges / Gravière Mattenweg on your left, your18th and final stop. Continue straight ahead and you will return to the starting point (S/E).
