(S/E) Leave from the car park at the end of Rue Lavaut in Brochon. Follow the path up into the Combe de Brochon under the trees to the 100 steps of Brochon.
(1) Once at the top of these steps, take the path to the right to arrive at a peculiar tree that looks like a lyre.
(2) Turn left beside this tree. You'll come to a good white path. Cross it to reach the pond just opposite. There's also a spring here.
(3) Then retrace your steps back to the "lyre tree" and continue straight on past it. The vegetation changes and you are now surrounded by boxwood.
This little path overlooks the valley for the next hundred metres; venture to the right of this path to get a clear view of the box trees and discover the magnificent view.
From this path, turn back slightly and take a marked path to the right, which leads you 20m further on to a good white path. Cross it to reach a second good path.
Turn left along this path for about 100m, then right onto a small footpath. On this path, you can see the ruins of an old house with a cellar in very good condition. This path takes you to the foot of a spring, which you can see in the distance as some huge pine trees have grown up at its foot.
At the spring, make a slight U-turn and return to the original path. At the next junction, take the path on the left. This path continues along the Combe de Fixin. Don't hesitate to approach the top of this valley from the right, where you'll find beautiful views in several places (the passages are marked by hikers). You'll then come to a junction, on a good path, at the level of a woodcut.
(4) Then turn right, and head downhill until you come to the top of the 100 Fixin steps. Go down these steps and follow the path of this valley. On your way, note a spring on your right which you can't miss, then a little further on, on your left, a small path will lead you to a wash-house. If you're lucky, you may even spot some salamanders. Then return to the valley path.
(5) At the end, take the tarmac path on your right.
(6) Then, don't take the right white path on the left, but the second path on the left just after, and follow this little path under the trees to reach the car park (S/E).
