Hello,
The initial track is kept as long as the hike is online. The GPX points are those of this track.

Hello,
I saw a comment and a reply from the author of this hike a few years ago. It mentioned that the GPS route was incorrect and the author explained that he had traced it by hand and not during the hike because he didn't have a GPS at the time.
Has this since been corrected?

Hi, I'd like to do the TMB 2011 course, starting on 4-5 July. I'm taking my dog with me and I'd like to know if the proposed GPS route is feasible for my dog (no ladders etc.).
Thank you for your help

hello
to finish my holidays I did the TMB departure from Les Houches on 9/8
return from Les Houches station on 14/8 around 10am
so 5 days and a half in complete autonomy (approx 25-30 km and 2200m more per day) it's a nice route
apart from the Col des Montets - La Flégère and Col de la Voza - Col du Tricot sections, not that many people there
( and then it's a chance to meet some Japanese hikers!)
between 7am and 9am in the morning and 6pm to 8pm you're on your own
Day 1: Houches-Voza-col du Tricot-ref de Tré la Tête-la Rollaz (under the col du Bonhomme)
2nd day: col du Bonhomme-col des Fours-col des Seignes-lac de Chercroui (near Ville vieille)
Day 3: Courmayeur - Ref Bonati (a large, cool half-pint!) - Col Ferret - La Peule - Ars en dessus (we find the bivouac road beside the river)
Day 4: only rainy day of the week, heading for Champex le lac
- fenêtre d'arpette (heavy rain, wind, cold!) - bivouac near the buvette (unfortunately closed!) at the water intake for the bisse du Trient the weather improves in the evening
Day 5: col de Balme- col des Montets -lacs de Chesery - lac Blanc- la Flégère -le Brévent with bivouac on the panoramic terrace
undoubtedly the most beautiful stage for the scenery, but a little difficult because of the crowds
watch out for the water - no springs outside the lakes
Day 6: Short downhill stage to Les Houches station
return to Lyon by train

no problem with water on the first stages, we come across springs
Practically every hour, just fill up at Lac Blanc, then nothing until the finish.
