A very beautiful walk through fields and woods, around the village of Montagny-les-Lanches, with very little walking on roads, but offering stunning views of the Semnoz to the east and the Monts de l’Albanais to the east. Very pleasant in spring and autumn, but make sure you bring plenty of water in summer. As you pass through the hamlets, you’ll see beautifully renovated farms, adorned with flowers and well-maintained.

This route is an adaptation of the “Les Chemins d’Angely” trail, adding 1 km to the distance and 10 m of additional elevation gain. It offers panoramic views of all the surrounding mountain ranges: Bornes, Aravis, Bauges, Jura, Chartreuse and Belledonne, like a 360° panorama. And on a clear day, Mont Blanc watches over your entire route.

A mostly shaded route, a return walk from the Provenat outdoor fitness area, along the River Fier to the Nant Debout Waterfall at Morette. It provides access to the outdoor fitness trail, which features modern, well-maintained equipment. All along the green and yellow-marked trail, it is possible to descend to the banks of the Fier with its clear, crystal-clear waters. The Morette Waterfall is reached via a steep climb where children must be supervised, as the numerous tree roots can cause them to slip.
