From La Montade to the ridges of the Étoile
Just a stone’s throw from one of France’s largest urban areas, with wild valleys and picturesque, panoramic ridges.
Notre-Dame du Rot and Pilon du Roi from Lou Limas
Starting from the Marseille metropolitan area, a combination of classic trails and lesser-known paths to reach and explore a section of the Chaîne de l'Étoile ridges.
Le Piolit via the ridges from the Col de Moissière and return via the balcony
A challenging loop that allows you to climb an easy and very popular summit in the most beautiful way and away from the crowds. The difficulty lies mainly in the return via the balcony, which has some aerial and exposed sections.
Bau of the circular Vespres: Grand Couloir, Pas du Clapier and a new return route
After a relatively classic route with some slightly technical, sometimes aerial and exposed passages, the circular route ends with a little-known, easy route which, when you take a step back, offers magnificent views of the mountain. The GPX track may be useful.
Summit of Marseilleveyre, a "technical" circular loop starting from Callelongue
Circular route for keen hikers, which follows the most difficult marked trails in the area and an unmarked trail in the upper Mounine valley. Alternating between panoramic sections and wilder valley floors.
⚠️ Warning => This route is not recommended for certain people due to exposed rocky sections.
