A beautiful hike to the Boudimes nature reserve, where you may spot chamois depending on the season, followed by a climb to the Mattes mountain pastures accompanied by the sound of bells and marmots whistling. Forests and mountain pastures follow one another to our great delight, with superb views of the mountains surrounding the villages of Châtel and La Chapelle-d'Abondance, then passing at the foot of Mont de Grange (2,432 m) and its rocky ridges. This hike will take you to the heights with belvederes and sublime views. You will encounter nature in all its diversity, with mountain pastures and the possibility of seeing a flock of sheep and their shepherd. The first part from the start to the lake remains wild, but the ascent is busier and more "touristy".

This is an easy hike with stunning views of the Dents du Midi and Mont Blanc in the background if the sky is clear. Halfway along the route, you will overlook the Swiss village of Morgins. The return to Super-Châtel is via the Buvette du Corbeau, then the Cheval Blanc area and finally Lac de la Mouille.

This is a beautiful hike that has the advantage of being in Switzerland, where hunting is closed on Sundays. The upper part of the route is on a wide ridge with sunny pastures and a picnic area with two tables. There are a few viewpoints on the north side overlooking the L'Ajoie plain with the Vosges mountains in the background. On the other side, you can see the Haut-Doubs and the Jura mountains, including the famous Chasseral. In between, there is plenty of nature to enjoy, with a good portion of the walk taking place in the shade of the trees, which is very pleasant in hot weather.

A beautiful hike through woods and pastures with stunning views, including a 360° view of Chasseron (1,606 m) on the French side and the Swiss side with the Romandy lakes of Neuchâtel and Geneva. Depending on the weather conditions, you can see and admire the Bernese, Vaud and French Alps.

This is a challenging walk, best done in dry weather, with a steady climb followed by a fairly technical descent through undergrowth with roots and stones. Nature lovers will be delighted by the Doubs valley and its banks, the views from the Roches des Sommêtres and the architecture of the churches and houses in the village of Le Noirmont.

At the start of the walk, there is a south-facing view of the Haut-Doubs mountains. Then, superb views of the town of Pont-de-Roide from the Haut des Roches, followed by views of the Montbéliard region, with the Belfort Gap and the Vosges as a backdrop.
