Starting from the impressive Crossey Gorges (200 m high), this double-circular route, mainly through woodland and without any technical difficulty or danger, will take you to the Tourniquet or Pont de Pierre Chave, a rather rare spiral structure where the road passes successively under and over the bridge. On the return journey, the route passes by the Rocher de la Garde, a lovely viewpoint overlooking Saint-Étienne de Crossey and the Voironnais region.

This walk around the village of La Murette, which starts at Réaumont-Saint-Cassien station, winds its way through the fields to L’Agnelas, then climbs the southern slopes of the Bois de Bavonne before descending towards the Talamud business park and returning to the starting point through meadows and walnut groves.

A lovely, easy hike starting from Abisko Touriststation. Done in February, in the snow, but without snowshoes. The snow had already been compacted by other hikers. This gently sloping route alternates between passages through the boreal forest, clearings and a lakeside. The entire return journey is along the Abiskojokk river, which is frozen in winter.

This circular route, around the villages of Réaumont and Saint-Blaise-du-Buis, starts at Réaumont - Saint Cassien station. It climbs between Saint-Blaise and La Murette, through meadows and walnut groves, then skirts Saint-Blaise to the north, descends to the west, and ends amidst the peaceful landscapes of the Bessey Plateau.

An easy hike, with a very natural first part through the boreal forest, followed by a crossing of the village of Abisko Östra, a small artistic and scientific section, and then back to nature with the gorges carved out by the Abiskojokk River. There are two short stops along the route. The first is the Sami Camp, just after the start. The second is Sensing The Arctic, towards the end of the loop, below the STF Touriststation. This hike was done in February without snowshoes, as the snow had been compacted by other hikers.

This circular walk, starting from the village of Chirens, begins by crossing the Marais de l’Ainan, a designated Sensitive Natural Area, then climbs through the forest towards the Croix des Cochettes, and on to the Motte Castrale du Châtelar. The return route takes you via the Tour de Clermont-Tonnerre and the Guillermet, then along a path opposite Bavonne.

This fairly varied loop between Corrençon and Herbouilly (two of the gateways to the Nordic ski area with Bois Barbu) takes you along wide forest tracks and more peaceful forest paths. In places (at the start and finish), it runs alongside the golf course and roller ski tracks. It reaches its highest points at Pas de l'Âne and Pas de la Sambue. It passes the Roybon inn and the Herbouilly cross-country ski centre before taking the Pas Saint-Martin path and crossing the Herbouilly plain. On the way back, don't miss the view of the Grande and Petite Moucherolle, the Tête des Chaudières and the ski slopes of Villard-de-Lans and Corrençon-en-Vercors.

This semi-urban route will take you through part of Voiron town centre, but you’ll probably also discover some lesser-known and less-frequented neighbourhoods, paths and stairways. In several places, you’ll also enjoy beautiful views of the Chartreuse, the Vercors and the Grenoble valley.
