Waypoints
- S/E : km 0 - alt. 144 m
- 1 : km 0.12 - alt. 144 m - Traverse Burnsall Bridge and follow the signed and well defined path alongside the River Wharfe.
- 2 : km 3.7 - alt. 132 m - Head up Stangs Lane and follow the fingerpost (on the right) to Skyreholme. The route follows high above the beck. Head for the farm when it comes into sight.
- 3 : km 4.32 - alt. 155 m - Follow the farm track to the farm and then on to Hazler Lane.
- 4 : km 4.75 - alt. 175 m - Follow the road to Middle Skyreholme.
- 5 : km 5.45 - alt. 171 m - Turn left on to the road to Parcevall Hall.
- 6 : km 5.73 - alt. 177 m - Follow the obvious track that runs alongside the beck and up the valley.
- 7 : km 6.53 - alt. 208 m - At the cairn, carry out an out-and-back to the entrance to Trollers Gill. If conditions are okay you may want to explore further up the gill. Return to the cairn.
- 8 : km 6.86 - alt. 216 m - Follow the grassy path upwards to the west of Middle Hill.
- 9 : km 7.42 - alt. 263 m - At the bend in the track it is worth doing a short out-and-back to the east to get a good view down on to Trollers Gill.
- 10 : km 7.67 - alt. 271 m - Take a grassy path westwards. There is some signage later on that indicates that it is a permissive path. It leads to the road.
- 11 : km 8.06 - alt. 292 m - Turn left at the road and take the signed farm track south westwards.
- 12 : km 10.08 - alt. 226 m - The farm track turns into a lane (stone wall each side). Continue following this down to the road.
- 13 : km 10.93 - alt. 149 m - Cross the road and go down the signed farm track until reaching the River Wharfe. Return to Burnsall on the same path used on the outward journey.
- S/E : km 12.15 - alt. 145 m
