- S/E : km 0 - alt. 109 m - Leave the Rising Sun and head downhill towards the Church - 1
- 2 : km 0.16 - alt. 98 m - At the Church continue down the Tarmac Track with the Church on your left - 2
- 3 : km 0.47 - alt. 88 m - Continue ahead down the Tarmac Lane. Pass Lodge Manor on your right and follow Green sign for Park Farm. - 3
- 4 : km 0.64 - alt. 85 m - At the Right Hand bend of the Tarmac Road, go STRAIGHT AHEAD through the Stile onto a footpath and follow this path downhill - 4
- 5 : km 1.02 - alt. 67 m - Arrive at some steps to meet the track that heads towards Ponderosa. Continue STRAIGHT AHEAD heading into the old sewerage works and continue on the path with high wire fences on each side, as the path becomes Tarmac and widens it may appear to go nowhere, but keep going towards the right hand corner. - 5
- 6 : km 1.32 - alt. 48 m - Arrive at Spen Beck and cross over the small stone bridge then over a wooden stile and follow the path round to the left - 6
- 7 : km 1.38 - alt. 47 m - Arrive at a Stone Stile and turn RIGHT to head up the field towards the Chemical Factory. - 7
- 8 : km 1.57 - alt. 56 m - Go over a Stile, down some steps to arrive at the Greenway. Turn RIGHT along the Greenway. - 8
- 9 : km 1.84 - alt. 54 m - Follow the Greenway for a short distance to arrive at a White barrier, turn RIGHT down the Tamac Track, looking for a metal footpath gate on your left, just after 2 Black / White posts - 9
- 10 : km 1.94 - alt. 50 m - Arrive at the gate on your left and pass through this gate into Dewsbury Country Park and follow the path. - 10
- 11 : km 2.4 - alt. 49 m - Arrive at a metal gate and turn RIGHT to head down the path. - 11
- 12 : km 2.56 - alt. 45 m - Arrive at a junction of paths with a Wooden Bench. Now follow the path round to your right towards the White railings and cross over the River. Now follow the path round to your left. River now on your left and a hedge on your right. - 12
- 13 : km 2.8 - alt. 45 m - Arrive at a Junction of paths with a Pylon and turn RIGHT to head up the Track - 13
- 14 : km 3.08 - alt. 51 m - Arrive at a metal gate / Barrier at another junction of paths. Now look for a path ahead and slightly left, with a metal gate. Continue on this wide path with high hedges both sides and Pylon wires above you. - 14
- 15 : km 3.25 - alt. 55 m - At the bend continue ahead onto the narrow footpath and look for Ponderosa Lakeside restaurant an your left. - 15
- 16 : km 3.37 - alt. 52 m - Turn LEFT up the path to arrive at Lakeside restaurant and then continue STRAIGHT AHEAD up the track with the Lakeside restaurant on your right. Follow this track uphill, high hedge on your right, post and rail fence on your left - 16
- 17 : km 3.61 - alt. 62 m - At the end of the hedge, after the Pylon, follow the path slightly right onto the old railway and then immediately left to follow the path uphill and then round to your right to arrive at a stile into an open field. - 17
- 18 : km 3.74 - alt. 66 m - As you enter the open field turn RIGHT down the path to head downhill towards a large tree - 18
- 19 : km 3.87 - alt. 60 m - As you approach the large Tree follow the path round to your left and pass the large Tree now on your right. - 19
- 20 : km 4.05 - alt. 61 m - Follow the path in the open field, Fence / Hedge on your right until the end of the hedge, now turn RIGHT downhill in the open field with the fence still on your right - 20
- 21 : km 4.19 - alt. 55 m - When you arrive in the bottom corner of the field, follow the path round to your left, then continue ahead with the open field on your left and the stream on your right - 21
- 22 : km 4.45 - alt. 61 m - Continue along the path to enter into another field and then arrive at the end of this field where a Concrete Bridge crosses over the Stream. - 22
- 23 : km 4.59 - alt. 63 m - Cross over the Concrete Bridge and over a stile and head up hill with the open field on your left and the hedge on your right. - 23
- 24 : km 4.8 - alt. 74 m - Cross over a stile and continue up hill to arrive at a Wooden gate onto a Tarmac Track - 24
- 25 : km 5.12 - alt. 93 m - Upon arrival at the Tarmac Track turn LEFT and head up the incline to arrive at the Church, then continue up hill to arrive back at the Rising Sun - 25
