- S/E : km 0 - alt. 103 m - Exit gate to Rykneld Homes (enter code into gate) - Start
- 2 : km 0.12 - alt. 101 m - Exit Rykneld Homes car park and turn left down Mill Lane
- 3 : km 0.58 - alt. 87 m - After going through tunnel under railway line turn right towards Washlands
- 4 : km 0.83 - alt. 95 m - Follow man made bridalway
- 5 : km 1.58 - alt. 92 m - Turn right onto rough path on heading towards river. Turn around if you have reached the road to the south.
- 6 : km 2.29 - alt. 90 m - Take in the washland nature reserve and then head up steps to the north.
- 7 : km 2.33 - alt. 94 m - Turn left back towards Mill Lane
- 8 : km 2.61 - alt. 87 m - Turn left and head under railway. Follow Mill Lane back to Rykneld Homes car park
- S/E : km 3.19 - alt. 103 m
