Waypoints

1. S/E : km 0 - alt. 15 m - From car park walk up steps, or ramp, to the gate, go through and turn left along footpath signposted to Blairlogie Continue to village, going through ‘kissing gate’ and keeping straight on along street. At crossroad in village go straight ahead along track, continue to an open gate by the last house, keep straight on through this and on to a closed gate leading to a field.
2. 2 : km 0.45 - alt. 19 m - At this point the less able walkers can return by the same track to the crossroad. Those more able walkers, who want to go a little further, can continue through the gate and straight on through the field towards the copse. A rough path goes around to the right of the copse and eventually meets a small stream. Turn back here and retrace steps to the crossroad. Back at the crossroad turn right and follow the road down through the village until it meets the main road.
3. 3 : km 1.29 - alt. 14 m - Turn left and walk along pavement past some houses and the old church, looking out for a narrow footpath that cuts at an acute angle to the left back into the village. (Just in front of what used to be ‘Puddleducks Tearoom’) Take this path back to the main village street and up to the crossroad where you turn right to retrace steps to the car park.
4. 4 : km 1.92 - alt. 21 m - Those wishing to extend the route can continue on the footpath, past the car park entrance and, where the path forks, go right down a narrow path towards the main road. On reaching the road turn right and follow the pavement back to the car park entrance or, to avoid the busy road, retrace your steps on the footpath.
5. S/E : km 2.25 - alt. 15 m
