Description of the walk

Drive from Callander town centre, take Brackling Road to the car park at the start of the walk. You can walk this section (about 1.5 km).

(S/F) The hike actually starts from the car park. Follow the path due east below the car park. After a kilometre you will reach the waterfalls (the Bracklinn Falls). Enjoy the beautiful views of the waters and the landscape.

(1) Use the bridge to move through the waterfalls. Continue on the other side on a narrow, easy-to-spot trail (heading north-north-east).

(2) Reach a wider road, continue on the left.

(3) At the intersection take the left path that descends to the river.

(4) Pass the bridge. Head up onto the hillside opposite.

(5) Reach a small road and take it to the left. Follow this road back to the car park (S/F).

Very pleasant walk with beautiful scenery.
The bridge has been rebuilt, but the metal bridge is less charming than its predecessor.

On the way to Glencoe, we decided to take this short walk to stretch our legs.
Perfect for us Sunday hikers. The markings are very well done, so there's no doubt where you're going.
Beautiful views, ideal for a first glimpse of Scotland.
Worth a visit.

We went to Callander to do this walk, but unfortunately the bridge over the waterfall has been destroyed and the walk is reduced to a visit to the waterfall, which takes 10 minutes to reach.
It doesn't look like the bridge needs rebuilding... Too bad

A very pretty walk, although a little short, but could easily be lengthened by passing through the Crags. Lovely waterfall, pretty bridge and a short passage through free-ranging cows. We enjoyed this route. It's easy to get to from Edinburgh.

A pleasant route through waterfalls, dense forest and wide open spaces. A great summary of Scotland.

no signposting, like most walks in Scotland, very nice short circuit with views over the lowlands of the Highlands
