Waypoints
- S/E : km 0 - alt. 77 m - Leave Kippen Cross and walk down the lane past the Smiddy. Follow this lane to the bottom (about half a mile). Turn left and follow the road to the junction and turn left again.
- 2 : km 0.57 - alt. 49 m - Walk on the pavement for about 150 metres, cross the road and follow the track leading to The Broich Stables. Do not turn down to The Stables but go straight on and through a gate into a field.
- 3 : km 0.8 - alt. 65 m - Follow the track along the fence to the other side of the field where another gate leads to a path going up through the woods. Follow this path up past The Broich cottages until the road towards Arnprior is reached.
- 4 : km 1.89 - alt. 103 m - Here turn right and follow the road until a junction and turn right towards a farm. After about 150 metres turn left past a cottage and follow this road until the woods are reached. Here stop for a break and admire the view towards the hills.
- 5 : km 4.35 - alt. 110 m - Retrace the route back towards the village (do not turn down to the Broich cottages) and turn up Dunallan Lane (Just past the first house on the right). At the end of this lane cross the road and continue on past houses, turn a right handed corner and just before the entrance to the grounds of Red Marley turn left.
- 6 : km 5.29 - alt. 102 m - Go through a gate and follow this track straight on through another gate until a junction is reached. Here take the left path and follow it along the edge of a wood, turn right at the end and follow the track down to the football field. Here turn right along the edge of the field and follow the track onwards by the trees until a path leading into the woods on the left is reached. Take this path and follow it to the curling pond, turn right and walk towards the road. Turn left and then left again at the junction and follow this road back to the village.
