Park in the car park on the E-05/N 340.
(S/E) Set off up the forest track, lined with cork oaks, and walk for 1 km until you reach a fork.
(1) Continue along the forest track (keeping right) for 2 km. This section presents no difficulty.
(2) Leave the forest road and take the Sendero Río Guadalmesi, which starts by crossing a small clearing, then turns left to reach the river after 150 m.
(3) Continue along the path to the left, following the river. From here on, the path becomes more ‘technical’, especially if the ground is wet. In places, small rockfalls or fallen trees mean you have to leave the path to go round the obstacle. After 400 m, the path moves away from the river and becomes much easier. Continue along the same path until you return to the fork where you started.
(1) Return to the car park via the same route (S/E).
