Cádiz walks
Puerto de Las Presillas
Located in Andalusia, west of Ronda, the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park offers spectacular karst terrain. This circular walk allows you to discover its characteristic landscapes and terrain: karst formations, sinkholes, poljes and traces of human activity.
Cerro Coros
Set between the wonderful white villages of Andalusia, Zahara de la Sierra and Grazalema, just a few kilometres from Ronda, this magnificent circular path along a beautiful balcony path offers sublime scenery.
The Rock of Gibraltar from the border post
A short excursion to this little piece of England in the south of Andalusia. You’ll start by crossing a border to leave the European Union (see: Practical Information), then you’ll cross the runway of an international airport, which is quite a rare experience. You will then wander through the old streets of Gibraltar. You can then begin the climb up the Rock to meet the only monkeys living in the wild in Europe. There is an admission charge (£30.00 per person), but the experience is quite unique and the view from the top is absolutely incredible.
The Capitán Gorges
A circular tour through lush Andalusia, far from the crowds of the Costa del Sol. On the itinerary: the coolness of the Capitán Gorges, magnificent cork oaks, the tomb of El Capitán, the San José Mill, and a few harmless herds.
El Bujeo leisure area and the Guadalmesi River
A lovely circular route through the Andalusian countryside, starting in a forest of cork oaks. The route is then enlivened by the River Guadalmesi and the streams that feed into it. There are a few technical sections along the river, as the path has been damaged by heavy rain.
Cerro del Simancón from Grazalema
Head deep into the heart of the famous Sierra del Endrinal and climb Cerro del Simancon; once at the top, admire the exceptional scenery. It is possible to stay overnight with breakfast in Montecorto.
