Park in the car park at the exit of Saint-Jean-de-Cuculles, at the foot of the cross.
(S/E) Head towards the village, skirting it on the right via the Chemin de la Drovers' Road.
(1) At the first fork, join theGRP® Tours dans le Grand Pic Saint-Loup marked in yellow and red in front of you and continue south to the ford of a stream that flows slightly after rainfall. Shortly afterwards, continue in the same direction along a small road and arrive at a crossroads.
(2) Turn right and continue through the woods, following theGRP® until you reach a fork where you leave it for a PR®.
(3) Go a few metres to the right, then turn left onto a stony path in the woods heading north-north-west.
(4) Turn left to descend southwards, following the cairns that mark the path. You will come out onto a white path where you leave the PR®.
(5) Turn left for about thirty metres, then immediately right into the heath, facing the religious site, and join a tarmac path. Head left along the Notre-Dame des Champs building, which is a retirement home: please respect the silence and privacy of the place, which is used for market gardening and is only tolerated for hikers to pass through.
(6) Your Way of the Cross begins.
Walk up the path and stairs, looking at the stations of Christ on the steles. The chapel is at the top.
Turn around to contemplate the route and the view in the distance. Set off again on the right and, after a short descent, turn left onto Chemin de Tabar.
(7) Turn right and continue straight ahead along Chemin du Truc de Laval.
(2) Continue straight ahead, retracing your steps until you reach the fork where theGRP® trail branches off to the right.
(1) Follow it. Turn left onto Rue de la Paved Slanting Street and continue to the feudal gate.
(8) Enter the church grounds. If it is open, it is well worth a visit. Continue towards the village entrance via Rue du Prieuré and climb up to the right to the promontory. The promontory offers a beautiful view.
(9) Retrace your steps and stroll through the village, then take Chemin du Pic Saint-Loup back to the car park (S/E).
