The Bois de Sainte-Catherine and the Bois de l'Ermitage Saint-Jean Baptiste

Departure: small public car park (5-6 cars) at No. 40 Rue de Chevelipont.

(S/E) Take Rue Basse Heuval (Path No. 9 on OSM maps) and cross the Thyle river, passing house No. 38 (Moulin de Chevelipont).

(1) When you reach the junction, take Chemin No. 11 on the left, which joins Rue du Ry Pirot. Follow the railway line.

(2) At the level crossing, cross the railway line. At the first junction, leave Rue du Ry Pirot on your right and continue straight ahead on Chemin No. 11.

(3) At the next junction, stay on Chemin n°11, which branches off to the right (do not continue along the railway line on Sentier 127).

(4) At the junction between Chemin n°11, Sentier n°137 and Chemin n°38, take the latter on the right.

(5) At the junction, continue more or less straight ahead on Path No. 38, which winds through the woods.

(6) At the crossroads with a bench, take Path No. 10 on the right, which runs alongside the Ry Pirot on the left and joins Path No. 22 on the right along the Tilly.

(7) At the wooden bench, continue along Chemin n°22 to the right.

(8) At the intersection, continue straight ahead on Path No. 9, which takes you back to the junction on the way out, passing under the railway line.

(1) Continue straight ahead to return to the starting point (S/E).
