Description of the walk

Park in the Verchet Stadium car park.

(S/E) Turn left, heading north, onto the wide Chemin des Varennes. Follow this path and walk alongside the ponds. Then cross the Ruisseau du Petit Vernet and continue to the junction with the Chemin de la Sablière.

(1) Turn left onto this road and walk between the ponds to reach the right bank of the Cher.

(2) Turn left to walk alongside the River Cher. Head slightly to the left to reach the Verchet stadium.

(3) Walk between the changing rooms and the covered playground and continue straight on to reach the confluence of the Ruisseau Saint-Georges and the Cher. Stay on the right bank of the stream to reach the junction with the Chemin de Vercher.

(4) Turn left onto this path to quickly reach the Verchet Stadium car park (S/E).
