The start is located in the car park next to the campsite.
(S/E) From the car park, take the path on the right that runs alongside the campsite. Before the first pond, take the path on the left. It runs alongside the pond then branches off to the right to pass between the two ponds.
(1) Take the path on the left. It joins a wide white track which you follow to the left. It passes between the ponds. As the ponds recede to the left, you can leave the white track to take the footpath and follow the edge of the ponds as closely as possible.
The white path turns sharply right. Follow it. At the next junction (playground, totem pole), continue straight ahead. The path leads into an area of meadows and orchards and turns right again, heading towards the old railway line.
(2) Before reaching the railway line, take a path on the right between two hedges. This path leads to the ponds and a rope footbridge.
(3) Back on the white path, turn left then right just before the railway line.
(4) At the end of the path, turn right and head towards the main pond at the water sports centre. Walk along the edge of this pond, taking the path on the left. At the first junction, continue along the path that runs alongside the pond.
(5) The path moves away from the pond. Take the path on the right leading to the car park in front of the water sports centre. Cross the car park and take the path running between the campsite’s stilted chalets and the pond. It returns to the starting point (S/E).
