Garonne Valley to Bossost

Park in the car park at the entrance to Bossost (around 20 spaces). If it is full, there are other car parks in the village

Climb a few steps to reach the street above the car park, then head right

(1) At the end of the road, take the path opposite and follow it (note: there are very few yellow markings along the entire route). Once you reach the Seris bridge, follow the road to the right. At the hydroelectric plant, turn left onto a track. (4) At the Fork in the road, take the path going up to the left. (5) At the junction, continue straight ahead. (6) Continue straight ahead. (7) At the hairpin bend, take the path straight ahead. Follow the GR® 211.2 (8) Leave the GR® and take the path straight ahead, slightly to the right. (9) You will rejoin the GR® 211.2 by continuing straight ahead. You arrive at Bausen. Cross the village until you reach (10) . From here, you descend, continuing to follow the GR® 211.2. You will cross the road several times.

(11) Leave the road to the right (narrow path) (12) Cross the road and head straight ahead. (13) Back on the road, follow it to the right until you reach the A-road (take care when crossing). Head straight ahead. (14) Cross the Garonne via the Dera Lada bridge. (15) At the junction, turn left onto the road (GR®211). You will pass the Sant Blai chapel. Walk through the village of Les. (16) Just after the church square, turn left. Follow this road to the edge of the village and walk alongside the Garonne. Follow the GR®211 trail. (17) Leave the road and take a path on the left which climbs slightly above the Garona. You will reach Bossost. Follow the road to the bridge. Cross the Garona and turn right after the bridge. Follow the main road until you reach the car park.

The route climbs in the first section up to Bausen, then descends to the Garonne. The rest of the route is almost flat.
