The start of the Tour de Laboule is the same as the Sentier des Granges, located on the D124, near the church (signposted).
(S/E) Follow the D124 north. At the cross, leave the road and take a path on the right.
(1) At the fork, follow the yellow and blue markings straight ahead (leave the Sentier des Granges trail on your right). A winding descent leads to the Pont du Riboulet bridge. Join the D124 and follow it to the right until you reach the first houses in Les Abriges.
(2) At a fork, take the road that climbs up to the right. The road becomes a path until you reach the Langlanier ford, which leads to the hamlet of Le Rieu. A small road leads to the hamlet of Le Serre, which you go around to the east (left). Return to the D124 for about 50 metres.
(3) Turn left onto the path that descends below the gardens via a few steps. After 1 km of descent, the path leads to the ford of the Coucouru stream.
(4) Go back up, come out onto a small road and follow it to the left. Go down to a bridge and go back up to the hamlet of Le Vignal. Then take a footbridge on the right over a stream and go up towards the hamlet of Le Monteil. At the entrance to the hamlet of Le Monteil, note a carved sandstone cross with a hole in it.
(5) Take a short stretch of road on the left, pass the notice board and take a path overlooking the hamlet of Le Pouget. After a small stream, follow a path that climbs to the left until you reach a forest track that branches off to the right. A hairpin bend to the left leads to the hamlet of Le Fabre.
(6) Descend along the road for 150 m. At a hairpin bend to the left, leave the road and continue straight ahead along a beautiful paved slanting street (beautiful view of the village and the Tanargue massif). Return to the road and follow it to the left to reach the Col de la Pierre Plantée (fire hydrant).
(7) Take the road downhill after the bend heading east for 200m.
(8) Take a path on the left through the chestnut trees and descend quickly to Valos. After the first houses, the route descends to the right, going around them. After the Riou, the path quickly opens onto a large cultivated area, which you descend via a track. The path then branches off to the right, heading south-east, parallel to the Ruisseau du Salindres, which you cross at a ford.
(9) In a few minutes, the trail climbs back up towards Valousset-Bas, which you cross.
(10) At the cross, a paved slanting street shared with aPR®® (yellow and white markings) climbs up to Valousset-Haut and, at the pass, leads to Valos via the Salindres valley (metal footbridge).
(11) North of Valos and in front of a fountain, the path climbs up the southern flank of Tanargue towards Braud.
via a small pass (directional signpost), climb back up to the village of Laboule (S/E).
