There are three possible starting points: at the bridge on the Chemin du Bois-du-Château, at the Satigny sports centre and at Peney. The first is the most pleasant and enjoyable. Then, from Satigny, parking is easy. Follow the path towards Peney and when you reach the banks of the Nant-d'Avril (approx. 5 minutes), you will join the route described. You can turn right or left.
If you start from the bridge on Chemin du Bois-du-Château, you can leave your car at the side of the road. The route starts on a small tarmac farm track for 500 metres. Then you enter the woods...
There are many small paths, and it is easy to "take a wrong turn", but there is no risk of getting lost.
At Peney, there is a short stretch along the roadside (pavement) for 300 metres to reach Stream-d'Avril. From there, you stay by the water's edge, with its gentle sound and coolness, until you reach your destination.
