Samognat Town Hall car park.
(S/E) From the car park, head up the D13 to the left, then turn right onto Rue de l’Église, which leads downhill.
(1) At the crossroads, turn left and follow a small road that winds through the countryside, crossing the bridge over the Anconnans stream.
(2) Carry on until you reach the D18 and follow it to the left through the hamlet of Condamine de la Belloire.
(3) At the bend in the D18, take the road on the left that leads uphill (Chemin de la Touviere). You’ll look down over the valley to your left before finding yourself amongst the fir trees. The path turns left, crosses the Anconnans stream and reaches a bridge.
(4) Cross the Tovet stream – which is dry in summer – and continue straight on along the forest track until you reach the D13.
(5) Cross the D13 carefully and take the steps opposite to reach a footpath. Continue until you reach the paved footpath which will take you back to the town hall (S/E).
