Park in the car park on the left, after the railway bridge (anglers’ car park).
(S/E) Retrace your steps and go through the tunnel in the embankment, then take the path on the left, without going down to the lake, so as not to disturb the anglers. Walk round the lake to its south-eastern end.
(1) Turn left, cross the bridge and continue towards the Drôme.
(2) Turn left to climb up onto the riverbank, then right to follow the river. Small paths (there and back) allow you to admire the river all along this route.
(3) After the footbridge, turn right onto a path that leads back towards the lake. At the south-western end of the lake, turn left onto the path towards the observatory.
(4) After your visit, return to the path, then take the first path on the right (hard to spot) which starts behind a small fence. This path crosses the nature reserve and leads onto a stony track which you follow to the right until you reach the railway line. Before reaching it, turn right and head back to the car park (S/E).
