Park in the car park by the pond, accessible from the D101. To get there, in the village of Brain-sur-Longuenée, opposite the cemetery, take the D101 and go straight on until you reach the forest.
(S/E) Walk along the pond from the car park to its far end, a distance of about 200 m.
(1) Turn onto the first small path on the left and enter the forest, staying close to the edge. Follow this path straight on and, at the end, turn right for about 50 metres.
(2) Take the path on the left leading to the D122 road. Turn right onto the road and walk along it carefully for about 100 metres.
(3) Cross over and take the first path on the left towards the hamlet of l'Ermitage. Go round the hamlet on the left and continue straight on until the end of this path, which leads onto a small road.
(4) Turn left onto the small road, then take the first path on the left. Then turn right twice to reach the Pas du Chat crossroads.
(5) Turn left onto the road you left earlier and walk for about a hundred metres.
(6) Take the straight path on the left, which then turns right at a 90° angle.
(7) At the end of this path, turn left and continue straight on (north-west) until you reach the Ruisseau de l’Étang and the D122.
(8) Turn left, then right shortly afterwards to join a straight path leading straight to the edge of the forest. Then veer left to follow the edge of the forest, then left again to join a wide path called the Grande Allée.
(9) Turn right onto this path and continue straight on to reach the starting car park (S/E).
