A short, easy walk along a small tarmac road, with no significant elevation gain.
Very pleasant at this time of year as there are few people and the surroundings are unobstructed.
The chapel (closed) is a lovely place of interest.
Well worth a visit...

A lovely walk through the vineyards. Be careful in hot weather as there is very little shade and the route is entirely on roads, though there isn’t much traffic.
The little chapel wasn’t open... a shame.

A short family walk around the "island" of Luzech. The walk is suitable for beginners: short distance, mainly on roads, and no significant elevation gain. The little chapel of Notre-Dame de l'Île was closed when we visited, but it is charming. We were able to eat blackberries along the way and enjoy the beautiful hilly scenery. Afterwards, we had a picnic near the dam at the corner of the rugby pitch. We really enjoyed this lovely little walk.
