Tarragona walks

Starting from Prades, the red sandstone town, you will walk through the undergrowth on easy trails and discover a red stone arch, a small lake and three chapels, including a hermitage perched on a cliff.

Easy hike that follows the coastal path, which is well marked all along. Return via the town and pine trees. Park for free in one of the many parking spaces along the road. Head down towards the sea and follow the Camino de Ronda trail all the way. The trail passes through numerous coves until it reaches La Pineda Beach: to avoid the road, you can do a round trip. A very pleasant route. The farmers in the village of Pratdip have taken great care to maintain their paths and dry stone walls. The hike was done at the end of August, when there was no water in the streams. The hike offers beautiful views of Pratdip, the mountains and the sea in the distance. Bike ride along the seafront, return via the town of Cambrils and then along the seafront. Even when it's 30 degrees, this is a pleasant ride for the whole family, provided you bring water. You can stop in Cambrils for lunch.
