When you arrive in Rully, follow the sign for Grotte d'Agneux.
When you arrive in Agneux, continue climbing after the cross. 150 metres to the right, you will find the start of theGR® hike. Park 50 metres further up on the right.
(S/E) Follow theGRP® trail through the woods and turn left at the oak tree towards Nantoux.
You will find yourself on the road. Continue climbing this road, keeping to your right. At the top of the hill, continue straight ahead. You are now on theGRP® Vignes et Vallées trail, marked in red and yellow.
You will begin the descent through the woods. At the end of the woods, go back up the road and turn right to reach Nantoux.
(1) Turn left, then left again between the chapel and the old bread oven. In the meadow, take the path on the right and descend through the woods to the road. Cross the road and you will see the grassy path directly in front of you. Continue to the Auberge du Camp Romain.
(2) Turn left and follow the GRP® markings.
Turn left at the next intersection towards Aluze via the red and white markedGR®7. Follow the path along the ridge. Begin the very steep descent, which is a shortcut fromthe GR®. Continue straight ahead (there is a picnic area on your left).
(3) Continue straight ahead on the tarmac road to Chamilly.
(4) After the church, turn left until the next crossroads. At the crossroads by the cross, take the path that climbs up in front of you. Follow theGR® markings. Be careful, as the markings are quite spaced out.
You will pass an old mill. Follow the tarmac road on your right, which will take you to the centre of Aluze.
(5) Pass the church and then the town hall and turn left. Follow theGR® markings.
At the junction of Rue du Tartre and Rue des Vignes, turn right to follow theGR®7. You will arrive at the junction with the D978.
(6) Take the road on your left, then immediately turn right 100 metres further on. Continue and then turn left at the Cabane des Chasseurs. Continue straight ahead. When you leave the forest, you will come to a tarmac road. Follow this road, which will take you to Touches.
(7) In Touches, pass the church and continue straight on to Mercurey. At the junction with the D978 in the centre of Mercurey.
(8) Turn left, then take the first right 50 metres further on. Continue straight up to the church. At the church, turn right and follow the red and white markings ofthe GR®76.
(9) 200 metres further on, turn left at the crossroads. Steep climb between the vineyards. Follow the "Vierge" markings for a beautiful view of the valley.
(10) Turn around to return to the previous crossroads.
(9) Take theGR®76again. 100 metres after the mill, begin the descent to the road. You will pass a cross; take the path and continue straight ahead, following theGR® markings. You will arrive near the Château de Rully.
(11) Turn left before the château, following the signs for Agneux.
When you reach the road, turn right, then left 300 metres further on. After another 300 metres, turn right, then 200 metres further on, turn left. At the cross, you can turn right to see the chapel, or continue straight ahead to return to your vehicle in the car park where you started (S/E).
