Park at the Col d’Arama picnic area. The view from there is already magnificent.
(S/E) Opposite, you’ll find a small copse and an unmarked path; in fact, it’s a narrow gully carved out by water. Follow it north-west, walking for about fifty metres before reaching the harder rock. Then tackle afirst very steep climb. You’ll then reach a commemorative plaque.
(1) Take in the view here, then continue along the path. Start with a short descent, then tackle another very steep slope. You’ll reach another 360° panoramic viewpoint.
(2) Descend again, then start climbing once more to reach the Arama Summit and its sublime views.
(3) From this summit, the ridge path is very narrow. Take care here: avoid continuing along this Monts Ninndo traverse in wet weather or on slippery ground. In any case, stay alert and follow the path carefully.
Take it to reach the final viewpoint.
(4) Retrace your steps along the outward route to return to the Col d’Arama car park (S/E).
On the return journey, take great care on the descent sections, which are very steep.
