A very pretty route to start with, climbing through the forest; the path has eroded quite a bit just before Point 1, with a striking crater overlooking the drop – you can go round it, but you still need to be careful. You then reach the viewpoint, which people can access by car; the rest of the route is a very wide forest track with lovely views along much of the way, the end of the walk involves a short stretch along the road – about 500–600 metres – and as people drive fast, it’s not very pleasant. After Point 2, the slope is tarmac but steep; we didn’t find this particularly interesting, especially as it leads to a lake that you can see from the start of the walk without doing the full route.
