Park at the Étang des Chaumes car park. If arriving by bus, get off at the “Chaumes” stop. White markings.
(S/E) Follow the path that runs alongside the first pond and joins the strip of land separating it from the second.
(1) Turn left and walk all the way round the second pond. Then continue back towards the first pond.
(2) Take the path on the left between the hedges, then follow another path on the right. Turn right again to return to the north-eastern part of the first pond. Then head left along the Ruisseau de la Grange. Cross the stream by heading right, then turn left to continue along the opposite bank. You will reach a junction with a wide path.
(3) Turn left onto it. Then turn right at the junction, cross Avenue des Étangs via the overpass and continue straight ahead to Moulin Roux.
(4) Turn left to follow the path running alongside the street. Once at the roundabout, turn left to go round it.
(5) Cross at the pedestrian crossing, then take the path on the right that runs alongside the street.
(6) Pass through the hedge maze and continue along the path to Rue Principale. Cross at the pedestrian crossing, then take the path opposite running alongside Rue Saint-Nicolas to Route de Venansault.
(7) Cross the road, take the path on the left which cuts across a cul-de-sac and leads to the junction with Rue des Tourterelles. Go straight on for about fifty metres, then take a path on the right through the green area. Join Rue du Loriot, cross it and take the path opposite. At the fork, take the right-hand path to go round the pond and come out onto Rue des Tourterelles.
(8) Head left. About 50 metres further on, leave the street and take the path on the left which goes round the roundabout. Continue along the Amboise, pass the care home and turn left to reach Rue de la Gillonnière. Turn right until you reach the junction, then turn left to follow Allée de la Venerie and return to the car park (S/E).
