Park in the car park opposite the Longère de Beaupuy. You can get there by bus from Place Napoléon on the No. 12, stopping at "Parc de Beaupuy".
The signage for this trail has been reversed, so follow the route clockwise.
(S/E) Opposite Château de Beaupuy, turn right onto the purple-marked path. Go around the roundabout on the left using the protected crossing and continue along the path, which bends to the left away from the railway line and leads to a tarmac road.
(1) Cross it carefully in the direction of La Levauderie.
(2) Before reaching the hamlet, take the path on the left. Ignore a turn-off on the left and continue to the junction with Route de l'Hersey.
(3) Turn left towards the hamlet and cross it.
(4) Turn right onto Avenue des Étangs.
(5) Turn left onto the path along Ruisseau de la Grange and pass between two ponds. Come out onto Passage de la Croix, turn right and continue for a good hundred metres, then keep left at the three-way junction. Cross Impasse des Colchiques to rejoin the path opposite and arrive at a crossroads.
(6) Turn left to reach the Étangs des Chaumes ponds: pay attention to the markings, as there are many paths in this park. Go around the first pond on the left, then turn right to pass between the two ponds.
(7) Turn left to continue across the park and go straight ahead to join Route du Poiré sur Vie (D2).
(8) Cross it carefully, walk along the right-hand side of the pond, then turn left to reach Route de la Génétouse.
(9) Turn left and follow it to the beginning of Rue Principale, which continues on from it.
(10) Turn right onto Rue Saint-Nicolas. When you reach the junction with Route de Venansault, cross it and continue straight ahead on the marked path, which passes close to two other ponds before joining Rue de la Rose des Vents.
(11) Cross this street and continue along the path opposite.
(12) Turn left onto Voie de Saint-Pierre, then left again at the end of the street, opposite the water treatment plant. Quickly turn onto the marked path on the right, walk alongside the tennis courts and arrive at Voie du Défens. Continue to the right until you reach a place called La Touche.
(13) Take the marked path on the left and head to the Claire Fontaine roundabout.
(14) Cross the street at the pedestrian crossing, then turn right onto a path that runs alongside it. Return to the road at Gué du Bois, continue to the left, then turn left at the first intersection. Reach an intersection near two ponds in Parc de Beaupuy.
(15) First turn left then right to cross the small car park and rejoin the path on the right. Follow the path around in a circular motion on the left to return to Longère de Beaupuy and the car park (S/E).
