Path of the Gods in Agerola

Legend has it that the Greek gods travelled this path to save Ulysses from the Sirens.
This is one of the most beautiful and legendary hikes on the Amalfi Coast. A true paradise with incredible views.

Description of the walk

The starting point is in the village square in Bomerano. Local trail signs with regulations are on site.

(S/E) Follow the small path down to the wooden footbridge and cross it.

(1) Turn left onto the road and walk up to the gate marked Sentier des Dieux.

(2) Continue to the abandoned stone house.

(3) Head towards Nocelle to reach a magnificent viewpoint overlooking the Amalfi Coast.

(4) Turn right and walk to the lodge located higher up on the terrace.

(5) Continue through numerous forest passages to reach Il Chiosco del Sentiero Degli Dei.

(6) Turn left and enter Nocelle, then walk alongside the Church of Santa Croce. Continue until you reach the stairs.

(7) Take them and descend the numerous steps to end up at the Arienzo bus station (E).
