The walk starts from the car park at the village hall. The route is marked by Lou Camins and yellow paint. The nearest railway station is at Loures-Barbazan, 2.8 km away.
(S/E) Continue towards the picnic area and take the path between the meadow and the picnic tables. Follow the path on the left, Lou Camin, which runs alongside the ethnobotanical garden. You will come to a fork.
(1) Turn right (the left path is the return path) and go around the hill on its northern side (view of the Basilica of Saint-Just and the Cathedral of Saint-Bertrand). A few metres after the ruins currently being rebuilt, you will come to a fork.
(2) Follow the direction indicated by the small sign for "Tour de Sarrat" by turning right.
(3) Keep right again. You will then come to a dirt track.
(4) Go up this track on the left to reach another track.
(5) Turn left and reach the summit of Sarrat, where you will find a water reservoir that is almost completely buried. From here, you can enjoy a remarkable view of the plain to the north and the valley to the south.
(6) Then return to the crossroads.
(5) Turn left twice in succession. Continue straight ahead until you reach the junction you passed on the way there.
(3) Go straight ahead, in the opposite direction to the outward journey.
(2) Descend to the right. The path goes around the hill on its southern slope, then heads north to rejoin the junction from the outward journey. Return to the car park (S/E) by following the same route as on the outward journey.
