Description of the walk

Park in the car park behind the church.
Red markings

(S/E) Take the path that runs alongside the Tinouze stream.

(1) Leave the D80 on your left for now and continue straight ahead to cross the stream and rejoin the road a little further on. Turn right, then right again to follow the Route de l'Andouinière. Walk along the housing estate on your left and continue to the start of a path on the left.

(2) Leave the road and take the path, continuing straight ahead at the next junction until you reach the intersection with another cross path.

(3) Turn left towards La Proutière and head for this locality. Take the path on the right and continue straight ahead until you reach the D80, at the level of an antenna.

(4) Cross the road carefully, then turn right and follow it for about 50 metres before turning left onto the path. Approach the motorway and follow it to the Tinouze valley.

(5) Continue to the left, walk along the ponds, then turn left.

(6) Cross the stream, then follow it as closely as possible before turning away to go around the composting platform. You will come out on Boulevard des Artisans.

(7) Cross at the pedestrian crossing and take the path opposite, following the red markings. Return to the D80, cross carefully, then head right for a few metres before taking the path on the left.

(1) Follow the outward route in reverse to return to the car park (S/E).

This route can be extended (7 km) to avoid walking on a road and to discover a magnificent sunken path.
To do the route in the opposite direction to the one suggested, after the place called La Proutière, at point 64 turn left and take the communal stone paths. At point 64, turn right and walk straight ahead, pass point 67 and at the next junction turn right and go down a beautiful sunken lane, pass point 65 and before the D80 turn left, follow the route to the car park.
