Park in the car park and carpool area of the Maison de la Nature between Muttersholtz and Ehnwihr. You can also take the Elsa bus towards Muttersholtz and get off at the Ehnwihr stop.
(S/E) Head towards the Maison de la Nature, then take the first path on the left, walking along a meadow and following the Anneau Bleu markings.
(1) At the crossroads, take the path on your right and pass the Blind: take the time to admire the wet meadows of the Ried and watch the storks.
(2) When you reach a three-way junction, follow the path on your right towards the dam on the Ill.
(3) Cross the B15 dam: observe the fish pass and the hydroelectric power station equipped with two turbines. Then take the small path on your right that runs alongside the Ill.
(4) Cross the wooden bridge and take the path on your right, passing orchards, gardens and houses. About a hundred metres before the restaurant "À l'escale du Ried", admire the work of the weather vane maker. At the restaurant, cross at the pedestrian crossing and follow the pavement on your right towards the bridge over the Ill and cross it.
(5) As you walk along the Route de Sélestat, take a look at the flat-bottomed boats used by the Ried boatmen for guided tours on the Ill from April to October. A hundred metres further on, you will pass the Ried brewery, which produces its own beers and a variety of tartes flambées. Continue on, crossing the bridge over the Blind, past the Maison de la Nature and on to the carpooling area (S/E).
