The route of this hike leads to the tip of Sleat, a quiet and splendid place. Before reaching the tip, the path passes by a superb beach in Camas Daraich Bay, with white sand and turquoise sea, depending on the weather! This beach alone can be the goal of this hike if you decide to return by the same route.

Description of the walk

(S/E) This hike starts at a very small car park that can only hold less than ten cars. Please note that you can only park on one side!

Once you reach the tip, the normal route is to turn back and return to the car park. However, you can also choose to take an alternative route along the coast (depending on the tide). To take this alternative route, you mustn't be afraid to walk or even jump from rock to rock. The return via the alternative route passes by the two farms that you will have seen on the way there. Superb!

This hike does not present any particular difficulties. The path is marked, except for the return via the alternative route, which requires you to be comfortable walking on rocks.
