Among the most beautiful views of Santo Antao, varied landscapes between the valley, the ocean, the neighbouring islands, plantations and the mountains in the west of the island.

It's a steep descent, especially at the end, through scattered houses.

Description of the walk

Departure from the viewpoint over the Cova crater, dropped off by aluguer.

Pass through Pico da Cruz on the path offering views of the Paul Valley on one side and the ocean, San Vicente and the western peaks of Santo Antao on the other.

Start of the descent through the pine trees and then down to the Ribeira da Janela valley.

Arrival on the coast and possibility of hitchhiking or taking an aluguer to any destination.
