Petites Bruyères car park located at Rocher des Francs to the east of Recloses. Access to this car park via Rue des Canches.
(S/E) From the car park, take Rue des Canches eastwards, in the opposite direction to the arrival point.
Follow the path to the right from the start of this path, which is marked in blue and well frequented. At the first junction with a path on the right, go straight ahead. At the junction of four paths, take the one opposite, still marked in blue. Go straight ahead, take the new path on the right, then leave the other path on the left.
(1) Turn onto the path on the left, then quickly onto the one on the right. You are now on the ridge path. Marked in blue and also yellow. At the end of the path, turn right.
At the crossroads, continue straight ahead.
(2) Go around the pond by turning left. Follow the blue markings.
Turn right and join the Chemin du Moulin à la Fosse, which you follow to the right.
(3) Turn onto the first path on the left, then the first on the right. Follow Chemin des Mariniers, which turns left and leads to a playground. Continue along Rue du Chemin de la Butte Blanche on the left. At the three-way junction, take the left-hand path. Cross the tarmac lane of Jeu de Paume. The path climbs towards Recloses.
(4) Turn right onto Rue Pasteur and follow the first street on the left, which climbs up to the church and war memorial. Go around the church, turning right. On the other side, take the path on the left, marked in yellow and blue.
Cross the street, following the markings. At the end of the path, turn right. At the first three-way junction, continue along the path on the right, then take the path on the left, which leads back to the paved road of La Butte Blanche.
(5) Take the path on the left (not shown on IGN maps but on Open Streets Map), which is still marked in blue, and continue along Chemin des Escaliers (as its name suggests, it's quite a climb).
(6) When you reach the end of the path, turn left, leave the blue markings and join a tarmac road, turning right. This road leads to the car park (S/E).
