At the crossroads by the military cemetery in Vassieux en Vercors, take the road to the lodge Les Carlines in the hamlet of Roche Bonne. Park near the lodge.
(S/E) Head north on the track that follows theGR® Grande Traversée du Vercors trail. You will reach a first crossroads.
(1) Turn left to stay on this GR®.
Join theGR® central trail.
(2) Keep left for about 2 km until you reach another crossroads with several paths.
(3) Take the first trail on the right where a sign indicates Roche du Mas. You will come to another trail and track junction.
(4) Take the path on the left heading almost north. You will reach a crossroads below Roche du Mas. Turn left to reach the summit.
(5) Return to the previous crossroads to begin the descent via the path on the left. Join a forest track, cross it to meet the central path again, take it on the right and pass through a place called Pierre Blanc.
(6) Continue to the Fouletier lodge and then to the hamlet of Allard. Take the path opposite leading to the Col du Souillet.
(7). Follow the forest track to the first crossroads you came to on the way out.
(1) Then return via the same route to the car park (S/E).
