Park in the Castelnou car park.
(S/E) Leaving the car park, take the street on the left that leads to the village. Pass through the village gate, then immediately take the alley on the left, Carrer d'Avall. After about 100 metres, stay on the alley on the right. After passing the excellent restaurant L'Hostal, join the trail at the end of the street.
(1) Follow the path on the right. The climb becomes steeper until you reach Roc de Majorque, keeping left at each intersection. This is the most difficult part due to the steep gradient, but the summit is reached quickly (allow half an hour for the climb).
(2) Enjoy the view from the rock, which towers over the village. On the way down from Roc de Majorque, turn left at the fork. The trail descends gently until it joins a slightly wider track. You may encounter goats that have found freedom in these mountains!
(3) Follow the track to the left.
(4) At the crossroads, keep left and you will soon reach the D48. Cross carefully and continue on the path directly opposite. Continue for about 100 metres and turn left.
(5) A few dozen metres further on, turn left again; the other options are dead ends! Follow the GPS track carefully as there are no signposts at this point.
You will soon reach the car park where you started (S/E).
