The starting point for this stage is at Rifugio Margaroli
Signposting: Walserweg Gottardo signs and stickers with a W ( red-white-red markings)
(S) From Rifugio Margaroli, head towards the dam and then follow the lake to an intersection before Alpe Corteneva, at the southern end of Lago Vannino.
(1) Turn left and begin the climb towards Passo Busin.
(2) At the pass, switch to the eastern slope, overlooking Lago di Busin Inferiore. Descend to an intersection.
(3) Take the path that branches off to the left, heading east and turning towards the eastern shore of the lake. Follow the lake to Bivacco Busin.
(4) At the bivouac, turn left towards the dam. Follow Sentiero G25 and reach Alpe Giove.
(5) Continue down the long, fairly steep trail and finally reach Alpe Vova after crossing Torrente Vova. You will arrive at a crossroads.
(6) Heading south, follow the track that passes through the hamlets of Cangei and Torp. Then leave this track and follow the path that leads directly to the hamlet of Case Francoli, a pretty little Walser village with a traditional church and an old lime kiln.
(7) Continue south towards the beautiful Walser village of Salecchio Superiore. You will easily reach the 17th-century chalets of Zum Gora, your accommodation for the night. (E)
